La Candela Teatro y Comunidad is formed by transdisciplinary group of professionals coming from different fields: theater, arts, education and social work. We think that theater is a tool to make society more inclusive, empathetic and supportive.
We create theater shows, facilitate workshops and trainings and develop projects in which the participants are truly protagonist of the experience, also collaborating with different partners.
We start from the group’s own experience as an opportunity for personal and collective transformation. All from a holistic perspective and a gender and human rights approach.
The Erasmus+, KA2 project “participART: ART AND CULTURE FOR YOUTH ENGAGEMENT IN LOCAL COMMUNITIES” has successfully concluded with an Evaluation meeting that took place in Riga (Latvia) from 3rd to 6th of December 2022.
This visit was divided into two parts. An implementation seminar, which means that we were going to put into practice everything we had seen and learned in the other mobilities, and a study visit to complete the one we did in Latvia in April 2022
Within the framework of ‘ParticipART’ we reflect on our experience with forum theater.
Study Visit “The neighbourhood – linking people through cultural action” took place in Riga, Latvia, from 7th to 11th April 2022
We have successfully concluded our first mobility of PartcipART project: “The art-linking souls through artistic participation” – a seminar which took place in Italy, Torino and Alpignano from 2nd to 7th of December 2021
El proyecto Erasmus +, KA2 “participART: ARTE Y CULTURA PARA LA PARTICIPACIÓN DE LOS JÓVENES EN LAS COMUNIDADES LOCALES” ha comenzado con éxito con una reunión de lanzamiento. Tuvo lugar del 22 al 25 de octubre en Valladolid, España.
